Brooks and I originally planned to do it, but discovered we just no longer had the time.  We could not have placed it in better hands.

You&#039;re quite right about Glenn Robertson, and I should have mentioned his contribution in my post.  As I recall, there are other staff ride resources online -- guides to a myriad of Civil War and other sites -- and I&#039;ll have to track those down and post links to them as well the one you provide.]]></description>

you did.  Your Gettysburg volume has been one of my &quot;best 
friends&quot; in prepping for tours and staff rides of that field.  
If there was something as good on the 1781 siege of Yorktown I&#039;d
sure be a lot less nervous about the ride I am leading there next 
month!

Also, don&#039;t overlook Glenn Robertson&#039;s role in reviving the 
staff ride at CGSC.  His pamphlet on how to conduct staff rides
is on-line:
